5. Approved the Minutes of April 6, 2010.
6. Approved the 12-Month Employees Holiday Schedule.
7. Ms. Ronda Matthews recognized the STAR Student(s) of the Year.
8. Ms. Susan Vaughn recognized the winners from the area GUMBO Games.
9. Ms. Denise Graves recognized the Outstanding School Support Employees of the Year.
10. Approved the following items:

  • Request Permission to Advertise for Assistant Superintendent
  • Request Permission to Advertise for Assistant Principal at St. Amant Primary School
  • Approval of Sealed Bid – SB-10337 – New Walk-In Cooler/Freezer for St. Amant Primary School
  • Approval of Sealed Bid – SB-10338 – Surplus Fencing – Dutchtown High School
  • Approval of the Following Job Descriptions/Policies:
    • JAG Job Specialist Job Description
    • Special Education Tech 1/Director’s Assistant
    • Drug Testing of Athletes Policy
  • Approval of Professional Sabbatical Leave for Ms. Angele LaCroix, Teacher at Galvez Middle School, for the 1st Semester of the 2010-2011 School Year
  • Renewal of the Following Administrative Contract:
    • Mrs. Elizabeth Stafford, Director, Central Office
  • Notification that the Following Administrative Contract will Expire on August 20, 2010:
    • Ms. Frances Grayson, Assistant Principal, St. Amant High
  • Notification that the Following Administrative Contract will Expire on August 29, 2010:
    • Ms. Lori Charlet, Principal, Gonzales Middle
  • Approval of Personnel Changes for the Period of March 1-31, 2010
  • Request Permission to Advertise for Installation of T-Buildings Parish-wide
  • Approval of the Following School Meal Price Changes:
  • Employee Meal Prices and Second Meals for Students - $3.25
  • Visitor Meal Prices - $3.50
  • Approval of 3 Day Contract Extension for Inclement Weather in the Month of March, 2010
