Ascension Announces Second Annual Career Fair

Business/Vendor Registration Due Oct. 23

Gonzales, La. — Ascension Public Schools will hold its second annual district-wide high school career fair on Nov. 1, 2017 at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales. Students and parents from Donaldsonville High School, Dutchtown High School, East Ascension High School and St. Amant High School are expected to attend. Businesses and groups wishing to participate should register for a table by Oct. 23, 2017.

“This career fair is an invaluable opportunity for our students to explore professions and career tracks as they plan for life after high school. Last year's inaugural event of combining the four high schools into one venue was a tremendous success with more than 1,000 students interacting with over 200 professionals. We expect this year to be even bigger,” said Superintendent David Alexander.
