Ascension Public Schools to Hold School and Early Release on Jan. 16, 2018

Ascension Public Schools will hold school and release early on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, due to winter weather conditions.
After consulting with emergency management officials, it has been determined that all is safe for the morning, but driving conditions may become hazardous by late afternoon. Therefore, schools will follow their normal early release schedules with middle and high schools releasing at 12:30 p.m. and primary schools releasing at 1:30 p.m.
The safety of our students and employees is of the utmost importance, and we will be vigilant as this weather system moves through our area.

Ascension Public Schools officials are closely monitoring the winter weather forecast this week. At this time, all schools and offices are operating normally. Students should be prepared for cold bus rides to and from school and dress appropriately.
