Groundbreaking Ceremony for St. Amant High School's Freshman Academy

St. Amant, La. – On Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015, school board members, elected officials and community representatives will officially break ground for St. Amant High School's new Freshman Academy.  This is the first of three freshman academies that will begin construction this school year in Ascension Parish.

 

WHAT:  Groundbreaking Event for Construction of a New Freshmen Academy at St. Amant High School

                       

WHEN: 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2015

 

WHERE: South Side of St. Amant High School Campus (under the white tent); 12031 LA Hwy. 431, St. Amant, Louisiana (see directions below)

  • Blessing of the Ground by Father Juel Kandulna of Holy Rosary Catholic Church
  • Special Performance by the St. Amant High School Cheerleaders
  • Ceremonial Groundbreaking

Directions: (28 minutes from Downtown Baton Rouge) Follow I-10 E to LA-73 N (Prairieville-Geismar). Take a left and then a right onto LA 621 E to US-61 S. At US-61 take a right. Take a left onto 273/Church Point Road to LA 431/LA 935.
